Well, that's certainly gonna help drive the film industry away.

The antigun idiots don't care about art, they don't care about cinema. But they're stupid.

They extol films like "Schindler's List" and completely forget that the Germans have GUNS.

Like with real gun technology, they don't want to hear about 'reality'. They think we have a magical warehouse of custom but FAKE weapons of every make model and design in history which can simulate blank fire without actually firing an evil cartridge.

I'm very confused, because I follow the American Entertainment Armorers' Association web site, and last I heard, they were on top of this:

Quote:
The nation’s toughest gun control law hasn’t even taken effect, but New York lawmakers are considering tweaking the restrictions, especially if the gun owners happen to be from Hollywood.

Permitting filmmakers to use genuine assault weapons — banned under the state law passed in January — is one of the measures under consideration by legislators in the state capital, Albany. Another possible change that lawmakers say might be necessary: exempting law enforcement officials from the assault weapons ban.

This post was made over two months ago, so has something changed that I wasn't aware of? Back then, AEAA seemed pretty confident that the new laws weren't going to affect New York's armorers.
