More comparative image guides
Have been working on some more comparative image guides. Good detailed closeups are probably helpful in identifying weapons in films/TV, etc. Based on this chart alone, I think I've caught at least a half dozen 'errors' in identifying shotguns on various pages.
Helpful? or no? |

Very helpful.
The shotgun in "White Lightning" looks much closer to the Stevens 620 (listed as a Remington 31 currently), but the trigger guard doesn't seem right.

Immensely helpful, considering all we see of shotguns in some movies is the barrel and pump.

Shots of the trigger guard/receiver area would probably be the next step in helping with that.

I concur, although what MPM has is still helpful.

Oh well, check out the link and let me know what you think. It goes to a small thumbnail so double click on the image to ZOOM it up to full size. http://www.imfdb.org/w/images/a/a1/P...unDetail02.jpg |
