I got The Guns Of Navarone from my library. I've decided to have a few scenes in the book to be homages to it. Also I'm going to have Greg's middle name be Mallory (which is the name of Gregory Peck's character in the movie).

I definitely want to see a battle with somali pirates.

maybe take down the attack boats then go after the motherships they use to take them all down.

I will have a scene where the merc's crew encounters a Somoli Militia patrol and they end up destroying it (Chief turns it into Swiss cheese with the .50 Cal and Todd kills the crew with his rifle and a few grenades). This is a homage to Navarone where Papadimos destroys a German patrol boat with a Bren gun.

Maybe have chief throw the FAL to todd for its firepower over the lee when he mounts the m2.

I can definitely see Jefferey dean Morgan as chief, and jamie Bell would be a good todd. I havent seen anything with zoe salanda so dont know. Who'd you want as will?

I like the cast mostly, except elija wood doesn't see a good choice for Greg.
