I know you've told us about this before, but in my opinion, that's a really dumb system. When I was in high school, I knew lots of kids who did very well on their math HW assignments because their parents were so desperate for them to get good grades that they "checked" the assignments (read: told them what to do, step for step). Some of them also had tutors who served the same purpose. These same kids then took the exams and did poorly because they were completely incapable of critical thinking and problem-solving on their own.

If these kinds of kids were going to school in Texas, I'm sure that they'd be getting A's in math classes even though they didn't deserve to.

What? The most you get when the grades are dropped is about 5 points, and every grade dropped is something that does not count for much

In my experience parents usually dont know much more than students on useless school stuff. They can help a little but most cant or wont get you any higher. And dropping a grade only changes so much.

I am having a very hard time concentrating on my Sociology paper. This is understandable, since I am literally writing about garbage

Think of it as a targeting reticle for your "missile".

It's funny because it sounds sexual.
