"Revenge of the Fallen" may be a totally brainless movie, and Michael Bay may be an egomaniac (as I'm sure those leaked e-mails confirmed for anyone who didn't already know), but at least it didn't have hypocritical, stupid politics...on the contrary, it was basically a pro-military kind of movie. That's what I hated so much about the remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still"...they destroyed a classic with extremely idiotic leftist commentary.

I've had that argument with people for years about the socialistic leanings of the original version. I'm convinced that the only reason that those concerned with the movie didn't get hauled in-front of the House Un-American Activities Committee, is because it was a science fiction film.

This is a good point...only thing is, there's a bit of a difference between arguing against nuclear war (which I'm pretty sure liberals and conservatives today agree on), which is essentially arguing for the sake of saving mankind from extinction, and arguing that humankind deserves to be wiped out for destroying Earth, as the newer version argues.

What a lousy moral. I haven't hurt this Earth any, why the fuck do I deserve to be destroyed? . Hell, I'm a pretty environmentally friendly guy, not like a Green Peace weirdo or anything, but I do recycle and pick up trash on occasion. And I sure as hell don't cruise the streets in my Hummer.

It's almost as stupid as the new War of the Worlds moral: "Sometimes it takes and alien invasion to bring a torn family together."

Did you know we waste more money and resources to recycle than throwing out trash the regular way? Now recycling metal, plastic and glass is the only good thing to recycle but paper is not going to help since there are tree farms meant solely for paper, so many things we recycle is just a waste of our time and money and the only thing we get out of this is the good feeling. Now car pooling is good, saves gas. Buy more fuel efficient cars. Hybrids are a waste of money.

And that's what I hate most about the ridiculous obsession in Hollywood with promoting ecological/Green crap. The hypocrisy of all these actors, directors, producers, etc. who produce a bigger carbon dioxide footprint in one day than I do in a year (with all of their huge mansions, stretch Humvees, private jets, personal entourages, etc.) lecturing me about how I need to be more Green-friendly. The way I see it, if the environment is in such serious danger, why aren't these stuck-up celebrities acting like it?

Oh, yeah, and if anyone ever doubts the hypocrisy of Al Gore and his ilk, the final word must go to this page:

He's pulling an old magician's trick, he's distracting us with one hand (AKA his super green friendly house) while his other hand performs the deception (his super electricity consuming home). Prick. No one wanted to watch "The Inconveniant Truth" in Bio, but it's required. Every.... damn... year. The best part of the movie is when the audience laughs at him for being turned down as president. Good stuff.

And today's modern car emits less carbon emissions (about 50% less), but requires much more gas filled up each month. So basically we pay more for gas to emit the same amount of carbon into the air. Thanks government for cleverly bending us over the table once again. So buying an old car that emits more carbon makes no difference. I'd rather buy that car that runs souley on air (I think it's called the cAt or something like that), that sounds like it would do something.

Like my dad says all too often, "Always keep a bottle of lube, because everyone is out to fuck you in the ass, you might as well make it easier on yourself."

You know Al Gore's house produces more pollution than a small town?
