Default Unneeded gun Images

I'm wondering what to do about images of real weapons that people uploaded but we already have an Image on the weapon's page. Meaning that on various pages we have several images of the base weapon that were uploaded for a films page and don't match with what we have on the weapons page. Meaning that a real world image of a firearm is on one page and takeing up server space as we already have a referance pic on the weapons page.

I see no point in this like i see no point in having an airsoft gun uploaded when we already have a picture of the real weapon.

I agree completely on the airsoft thing.

A couple of airsoft pics that can go.

Deleted the first one. I will have to photograph a real gun in that setup for the SECOND one, since it links to at least four pages.

I don't mind airsoft as placeholders as long as we eventually replace it with real steel. Yegads! Does anyone remember IMFDB back in 2007?!?!?!!?!
You would have seen a lot of airsoft back then .... really bad airsoft....

I think that if we allow airsoft guns as place holders there should be a large "PLACEHOLDER" watermark to encourage it's replacement.

I agree. It shouldn't be too big, though.

Could MPM please put up a statement in the official rules that Airsoft images are not kosher on this site as we have images of the real weapons that are better than the airsoft Images.

I think we already have a rule about posting Airsoft photos

None of your responses to quoted statements have made any sense. I'm inclined to think you're a spammer trying to mimic intelligence.

Of course he is a spammer. Just check out his "About me" section in his profile.
