Default Wooden grips for my 686

Does anyone know where I can get a quality set of wooden grips for my .357? Preferrably without finger grooves- my fingers sit on the bumps inbetween the grooves and I hate it

Hogue grips are popular and have a wide selection as does Eagle. (I don't have any experience with either of them) What kind of finger groove grips do you have? I have factory combat stocks on my 586 with the finger grooves and love them. It originally had target stocks.

Here is a crappy pic of mine.

Get them from S&W's website or look on Gunbroker for a pair of L-Frame wooden ones. I think K frames fit too.

I found a set of stock wooden grips w/o grooves on Midway USA's site, but they're so damn expensive

Yeah K-frames grips will fit too. That's what my grips came off of. You have to make sure they're square butt or round butt. Ebay is another place.

Yeah I got my 1911 grips on Ebay, but they were plastic. Unless you find a fantastic deal or a real bad condition pair, expect to pay quite a bit for wood S&W grips.
