Default Modern Warfare 2 page heating up

It's getting to be quite active all of a sudden. I think we need to keep an eye on it, as a couple of the weapon reference pics had been replaced with airsoft replicas (M4A1 and MP5K that I can see) that I've just changed back out for pics of the real things. I like airsoft as much as the next guy, but if we already have pictures of the real thing, I think those would be preferable.

I think as the release date approaches, more and more fans will come in to add shit and the recent trailer was pretty good

I agree, the use of airsoft toys being used on the site instead of the real thing doesn't help the impression of some that this site is bloated with obnoxious kids.

We could add new mods and maybe designated Catigory mods? you know like a mod who's primarily on Video games or Anime. I know that we have mods who prefer to work on one subject or another. lets just make it official.

I'd recommend we lock out Anonymous users, at least for now.

I have to admit that I personally have almost given up on the video game pages, because so many of them are done by kids who have no sense of aesthetics or grammar.

That would help and it would let us know who to thump with a cluebat.

I swear that i will not simply go viking and run through the section with the deletion ax and torch.

What an I saying I know I would remove alot of bad pages and frankly tick off alot of people who have made no effort in their pages. At least I have tried to get in Weapon pictures and links to all the weapons. Frankly IRL I am tired of cleaning up people's shit (Literally) and am getting sick of people messing up a communal hobby space.

So do we want to have the page locked so that only registered users can mod the MW2 page or do we go as far as locking out everyone but admins?

I ask because we have new users who have not gotten the message about how things work on this site. They are posting things like Airsoft guns insted of MPM's Real weapons( in some cases uploading over them).

Yes this is an ongoing issue. What I wish is when ppl register to the site, the admins have to review them, ask them questions about the basics of firearms to test them so we don't get dumb shits posting whatever they want. And make it so that you have to log in to make a post, no more anonymous posters
