Default Weapons of the LAPD

Aside from the Kimber TLE II, what all's included in the LAPD armory?

I've been searching for quite a while and didn't find anything, and every time I try to log onto the LAPD website, my browser freezes.

I was talking with Excalibur about this this week. Glocks are standard issue. I think they allow their officers to carry S&W 4506s too.

4506 is not for me. I'd take the Kimber or the 92F

I forgot about the Kimbers. Those are standard issue to SWAT units.

I've read the article. Is it true that LAPD SWAT carry converted M16A2 rifles as well as M4A1's?

If so, are the M16A2's converted to full auto instead of their usual three-round burst?

I think only SWAT can carry kimbers, if patrolmen can I definitely would. 4506 second choice. I'm not really a 9mm fan or a glock fan, and don't really like the .40. Too snappy Prefer .45.
