Oh, yeah, and as for the SCAR, my new range has one available for rent. I'm thinking of trying it out this weekend to see how it shoots. I'll have my AR, too, so I'll be able to compare them on the spot.

Do you find the 1911 large too? Side by side, height and width are pretty much the same, the 4505 or 4506 being a few ounces heavier.

4506 is a tiny bit wider and taller

anyone here handled a SCAR? Handled a bushy ACR at a gunstore but never seen a SCAR. wondering if its a confortable weapon.

I looks bulky, but I wot judge till I see one. The ACR (basic model) was nice. Hopefully price will drop, 2300 is expensive.

Back to the SCAR subject. If they decided earlier that the SCAR doesn't have enough advantages to replace the current platform, they should have done it sooner, but now they are canceling the program is kinda half ass. It's like the XM8 program. They spent millions developing a weapon and then not adopting it.
