Same Mini-14 in Ghost Dog and The American?
Does anyone know if the silenced Mini-14 in Ghost Dog is the same prop as the one in The American?

What makes you think it's the same one? It would have been any Mini 14 with a suppressor

I don't know for sure (haven't seen "The American"), so I can't compare. But it's possible. Movie guns come from the same small group of prop houses and armories. Any time you see a gun on-screen, that weapon usually has already been used in dozens (or even hundreds, in some cases) of other productions, and handled by many different actors.
Of course, the exception is when it's a weapon that was procured and converted to blank-fire specifically for that movie.

Well, both are M14's, but Ghost Dog was shot in Jersey. The American was filmed in Europe so I doubt they are the very same gun.
