Default Incomplete template and Capchas

I'd love to know why the incomplete template automatically causes one to have to fill out a Capcha or whatever those random word thingies are?

Frankly they are annoying and they slow me down to the point where i don't want to do a sweep of the database marking all the incomplete pages I see.

Yeah, I made a duplicate of that page and I'm working on trying to make the catcha or whatever go away, I'll get back to you if I can get it to work.

As an admin. this problem never arose with me, so I never knew this made Capchas happen.

Alright, I messed around with a duplicate template and I got rid of the capcha.

just use "{{incompletepage}}" instead of "{{incomplete}}"
and there should be no capcha.

Thanks guys,

I'm going to make a sweep of all the pages and mark the ones that are incomplete or are ones that should really go goodbye like the ones that are just lists of weapon names.

The capcha only happens because the incompete template includes a link to the article's own 'edit' function. I bought that up when I first made the template because it shouldn't happen; apparently the Wiki has difficulty distinguishing between internal and external links. It's something a sysop [or someone with access to the LocalSettings.php file for reCapcha, at any rate] would need to look at. The command that makes it happen is

Code:
<span class="plainlinks">[{{SERVER}}{{localurl:{{NAMESPACE}}:{{PAGENAME}}|action=edit}} expanding it]</span>.
The external link filtering really shouldn't pick that up as an external link, and it ought to be fixed since it severely limits the functions that can be included in a template without it throwing up capchas.
