If I didnt know any better, it looks like an M4 but without a brass deflector and a forward assist. The barrel sure is almost long enough

The barrel looks to be about 11.5 - 12 inches to me, too short for an M203 (unless you were to use an Israeli mount).

Sorry to tell you Spartan but the XM177 with the 11.5" barrel can take an un modified M203. Read up on Special forces from the Vietnam era and look closely at the weapons and gear that they carried. heck the first time i saw an Xm177 it was a photo from the Philipines and a rebel was armed with an XM177/M203 combo and the guy watching his back had a full auto M14.
