I liked it. The plot was meh, but I really liked Jared Leto's Joker and Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn.

So I'm not missing too much if I just wait for it to show up on one of the premium movie channels?

I can fully acknowledge that Suicide Squad was a mess, but I actually really enjoyed it. If I am being honest, even though I know it is objectively a far worse movie, I think I had a better time in Suicide Squad than in Civil War. I am kind of burnt out on the core MCU at this point. I am still really looking forward to GOTG2, but that doesn't really fit into the standard Marvel film template

On a related note, it looks like they are making THREE suicide squad sequels of a sort, Gotham City Sirens starring Harley Quinn, a Deadshot spin-off, and Suicide Squad 2. Even to me that seems like overkill for a film that had the absolute shit kicked out of it by the majority of critics.

Thanks guys. I'll give it a shot once it comes to the movie channels. I was horrendously unimpressed with either Man of Steel or Dawn of Justice but this looks like more a movie that is my speed.

As an aside, I'm a fan of some of the MCU movies, but haven't seen any of the Thor or GOTG movies nor Dr Strange.

If they had edited the Suicide Squad better and kill the guy who edited the soundtrack, it would have been a good movie, a hell of a lot better than Batman v Superman. It's like every single scene I am sucker punched with a different song instead of typical background music. The transitions are just horrible. It's trying to be Deadpool but isn't. Not sure if giving it an R rating helped because it's not practical and it ended with another sky beam doom thing that we've seen for the past decade of films. I watched the movie last night with my brother and he said if they made the movie all about Will Smith...I mean, Deadshot, it'd be a solid movie. The man is literally carrying this movie all the way.

The gun play is pretty good, which considering the director, I expected nothing less though the actor playing Rick Flag with his sideways shooting of his rifle is just weird. He's not using tilted sights. The only thing I am thinking he (the actor) is doing is his rifle has a red dot and a magnifier and I think he's tilting the rifle all the time to look through that...which is weird.

Thor is nothing to write home about. The 2 Thor movies are ok enough additions to the MCU. GOTG is a MUST WATCH and Dr. Strange is pretty good.

My extremely unhealthy obsession with Halo(Red vs Blue, specifically), resurfaced recently, and I remembered these shots I took back in March in Halo 5 of the M6H2 handgun (or "Magnum"). I think that they did an amazing job with it in this game, as it seems actually quite believable, there is even a gas piston hidden under that cowl on the front, as well as a modeled bolt head on the slide, but the detail on the animations is also incredible. not only does the world model have a cycling animation, it also has an empty idle animation, as well as having a mag model drop on the ground on reloads. Not only that, but it's held with a THUMBS FORWARD GRIP! A bit weird how of all the games to be (among) the first to use the grip, it would be Halo.

Anyway, here are the aforementioned pictures. Ignore the weird-ass paintjob I have on it.

EDIT: oooooooooooohhhhh shit how do I scale those down.

EDIT 2: I just noticed the mag is modeled as a double stack. Cool.

His rifle has a red dot mounted on the side of a telescopic sight doesn't it? If so, if you wanted to use the red dot it would be correct to cant the gun to the side wouldn't it?

I don't think so. I think that's the magnifier that can be flipped to the side when not in use. Someone needs to get a close shot of Flag's rifle

I've been modding the hell out of Fallout New Vegas, since I got the PC version for a few bucks recently

Here is a poster that shows it pretty definitively. It appears to be what our article lists it as, "a Leupold Mark 6 1-6x20mm M6C1 rifle scope with an Aimpoint T2 Red Dot attached on the right side of the scope".
