Default Mag ban questioon

I know some places limit you to 10 rounds. I have 2 savage 10 round mags for my .22. They both easily hold 11. Wondering, if owning a mag bought as a ten rounder that by some desighn flaw holds 11 shot in one of those commie states is a problem. Like, can you get in trouble if its the company that messed up the product and you were trying to get alegal mag? Of course ill never move to one of those states.

I'm pretty sure the law applies to you the person than just the people who makes those mags. If you're caught with it, it isn't the company that's going to get in trouble.

If they are factory SOLD as 10 rounders and you don't fiddle with them and load only TEN rounds, then the JBTs won't have a reason to mess with you. The trick is .. don't tempt fate.

Hypothetically you could file a criminal complaint against whoever sold them to you and throw a false advertising claim on top of it as well.

Yep, if they can throw Plaxico Burress in jail for his accidental case of "Glock Leg" in New York (he didn't hurt anyone else, nor was he seriously injured), it's best not to tempt fate with those who can stick those kinds of consequences on you.

He was illegally carrying a gun in his waistband in a nightclub. It's not like he shot himself in his own home.

In addition to hypothetically, you forgot 'moronic'. Why anyone other than a complete imbecile would actually do that is beyond me.
