Axeman and the Lost Images

To the other moderators:

Recently, I noticed that Axeman started reverting the images on the Lost page that I had replaced back to his original images. His original images didn't have the black bars cropped and some were very dark. So I took his original images and cropped and brightened them. After I reuploaded, he reverted them back again. He says his are of superior quality. I am getting completely frustrated with this, please let me know what should be the next step.
