Then they should be told that those guns were poorly drawn and meant to be drawings of guns, not accurate depictions of guns.

The anime pages have very realistically drawn guns, so they belong here. Not 2 rectangles pasted together with a trigger attached.

You aren't making sense. "Family Guy" has some guns that are poorly drawn and not supposed to be accurate, but there are also plenty of weapons that are recognizable as (fairly) accurate depictions of Micro Uzis, XM8s, MP5s, DShKs, etc. The screencaps we had on the page clearly showed this.

Never saw a gun depiction on that show that wasn't crap. It is gone. Let's keep it that way.

No disagreement there (I'm the one who deleted the revived page by that newbie, remember?), but surely, you can't deny that some of the gun depictions are fairly realistic?

This is also moreso with "South Park". It's quite obvious that the M16A1s and SPAS-12s and S&W auto pistols in that show are fairly accurate representations of the real guns. One can certainly look at them and think, "Yep, that's an M16!" almost immediately, instead of saying, "Hmmm, that looks sort of like an M16."
