A friend of mine was shot a couple days ago
A friend of mine was shot a couple days ago. In the head. I guess the bullet went up through the left side and took out a chunk of her brain. She's out of critical now and we're pretty sure she's gonna make it. We were told that when a nurse pinched her to wake her up, my friend said if she did that again, she was gonna get knocked out. And, you know, that's definitely something she'd say, so she's still in there. lol
Don't worry, this isn't turning me anti-gun rights or anything. You can't blame a tool for what its user does, after all.

If anything, this turns a lot of people into pro-self defense.
On a piece of fiction note, the few times I've heard a neutral gun perspective in a story is the line from the new Dark Tower movie. "I don't kill with my gun. I kill with my heart". I'm glad your friend is alright for the most part. I hope there isn't any lasting brain damage.
