Default What exactly does this mean?

The description of the customizations done to Keanu Reeves' Colt Mk. IV Series 80 in Street Kings mentions a "beveled magazine well." What, precisely, is that?

Basically it's to facilitate easier reloading in "heat of the moment" situations.
