Default One of my favorite Gunwriters Died today :(

Learned on another forum stephen a camp, known for the hipowers and handguns site ad countless reviews, has died. Not much on how, but he was active in the forums, very knowlegeable and open minded to trying many different guns, very knowlegeable and courteous, the man himself when it came to the hi power. One of the few writers/reviewers i'd trust.

Aw man. I have several of his books. The Hi-Power one of course, plus his 1911 and defensive firearm book. I need to buy his updated Hi-Power book, I learned a lot from his HP site.

He also revewed many different guns and loads, and gave good advice in the forums. Had some cool reviews too, took excellet pics, and was a courteous guy, didn't have the "im an expert listen to me and only me" attitude some do. He was just a guy who enjoyed the passion of shooting.

I can't believe it. I'd written a letter to get his book too which included a long winded thank you for all he's done, and now I don't get to send it. I'm indebted to him for the writings he's put forth that I've read and even those I haven't. May he rest in peace.

I believe his wife's name is sandra, send one to her, maybe reword it a little to make it in his memory.'

On Glocktalk it was announced that he had a aneurysm.
