Have you done any Nam pages? I think most of us are kinda war experts.

I'm doing We Were Soldiers. I'm going to do in the near future Full Metal Jacket too. I'm also exposed my vast Vietnam War knowledge on various talk pages.

I thought the Full Metal Jacket page was complete. What's missing?

Good shots. Grenades. And a shot of the VC that attack the Marine Base.

If anyone does the FMJ page, use a widescreen DVD preferabley. Catch all those gun goofs, all the MGC-16s, the Daisy Red Rider, some shots of the attack on the Tet Cease Fire, and keep the screencap amount reasonably limited.

What's so bad about the Daisy BB Gun? It's a character trait. Earl had it in the book too.
Also, How do i know if my movie is widescreen? |

Black bars at the top and bottom of the screen.
Kubrick sometimes filmed in full screen, that's how The Shining was done. I'm not sure about his others. |

I didn't say it was bad, I said catch it. And when you do screencap a widescreen film, chop off the black bars on the top and bottom before uploading.

It's widescreen cause it usually says it on the dvd. Let me put it simple. If you play the movie on your computer and it is a square presentation, that isn't wide screen. Widescreen implies exactly as the word suggests, a WIDE screen of view. So you'll most likely see black portions on the top and below of the movie you watch
