Where were you on the night of August 19th, 1969?
What is the average airspeed of an unladen swallow?

BTW:
Thanks for the info on the GCNM. Did they make that in Nickel or SS as far as you know?

On that particular night half of my chromosomes hadn't been produced by my old man's testes and the other half was in one of my mom's ovaries. Better answer than I hadn't been born yet. ;]

And african or european?

And no problem on the GC, as far as I know stainless. Mine's a Series 80 so my knowledge of them is for that particular generation of Gold Cups, but I do know some about the others. It's my favorite variant of the 1911 :]

But in the early years they may have made them with a Nickel plated finish, but all of the ones I have seen are either blued or that much duller stainless. It occurs to me the Colt custom shop may have offered it, but I would have to check.

Actually we don't unless he's on another board with a different name. August 19, 1969 was during Woodstock and his second question is from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I would explain it, but it's funnier if you see the movie. And the Gold Cup stuff is due to my contributions on the Gold Cup for the site.
