Default Trigger pull on S&W 3rd gen

Does anyone know the trigger pull on the S&W DAO third generation pistols. I read somewhere that it is 6.5 pounds but I'm not sure if that is correct. Thanks in advance!

That sounds about right to me, even though I haven't fired my 4506 in a while.

Possibly you have confused the 4506 with the 4586 which is the DAO model.

Nope, I simply misread the post. I didn't see that he was referring to DAO guns only. And yes, I definitely own a 4506, not a 4586 (I've posted pictures of my 4506 in this topic: http://www.imfdb.org/forum/showthread.php?t=238).

I think a S&W 4506 has a trigger pull of 10 pounds.

Okay I got you. The OP never refered to a specific model.
