I know a couple guys who had to get one unfortunately. I really don't seen why it's so prized. I mean, as a set piece and for impressing noobs at the range, but it's heavy as hell. Sure there's a scare factor, but who would carry conceal a desert eagle anyway?

Well, on tfl there is someone who told the story of his friend who does, but it actually makes sense. The guys about 7 feet tall and a real big dude, a full sized 1911 looks small in his hands. The DE .50 was the only handgun he found he could grip confortably so he got it as his HD/carry gun.

Ok, for huge guys with big hands, I can understand, but for average guys, the Desert Eagle is big and the recoil is even bigger

the game came out today. I wonder how many people just went straight online instead of playing through singleplayer.

Jack Slater's overrated.

Anyway, MW2 is awesome so far.

Quite a few, I imagine.

Has anyone noticed any movie references in the SP campaign?

I can see a few movie references, but the big one was obviously "WOLVERINES!!!"
