Think my buddy paid like $800 for his, but that was using a military discount at a store he used to work at.

I actually almost bought an EOTECH 552 with the magnifier at the same shop, would have cost about the same. Decided to stick with the ELCAN.

All you do is type (or highlight, copy, and paste) a suspected spammer's username, email address, or IP address into the search bar and click "search". You can get multiple different results (i.e., alternate email addresses, IPs, and usernames) by searching all three.

How do I know their IP address and email address? The spambots in this site don't seem to have emails.

Only administrators and (sometimes) moderators can see those. I don't know how VBulletin software works, but I imagine the principle is the same and a mod or admin can bring up our accounts in the administrator control panel where it lists our IPs, usernames, and email addresses.
