Default The Boondock Saints II

(No, this isn't about the movie itself; it's a technical issue)

I have been trying to screencap "The Boondock Saints II" since last night, and I'm having trouble. Whenever I try to run the Blu Ray through VLC, my images keep coming back with a whole bunch of artifacts, which looks really messed up. I've never had this problem with any other Blu Ray before. Does anyone else use VLC and have any idea what the problem might be?

I've also looked at the VLC forum; no help so far.

I use VLC to watch stuff, don't cap with it as the skipping, pausing and fast forward/rewind don't work well for me. What do you mean by "artifacts" exactly? Sometimes when I skip a scene it comes back very pixely and I can't see shit until the scene changes to a diffe3rent angle or something.

I always use media player classic for my caps. It's always worked for me although I don't have a blu-ray player or anything like that so I don't know if it would help.

http://mpc-hc.sourceforge.net/

Worth a shot anyway I guess.

Oh dear, I guess I'll have to learn to read more than the first post.. Meh

I put that page on the backburner for a while. I did upload lots of screencaps, but it's not done. I'm trying to see if I can get the 1080 version.
