Default The Town

Just saw this movie tonight. It's pretty good, but I'd stop short of calling it "Heat". It does have some nice loud shootouts that are directed pretty well, though I guess it's hard for us to take it too seriously; after all, Ben Affleck would have us believe that Boston is crawling with bank robbers armed with HK416s (which they fire one-handed from moving vehicles).

All told, I'm glad I saw this rather than "Takers".

I heard it wasn't that good.

Just don't go into it expecting the world. Or rather, don't take this movie quite as seriously as it takes itself sometimes.

I'll probably Netflix it when it comes out

I see this movie as a modern take on John Dillinger.

It was pretty cool, ending kinda sucked though, left way too open.

Maybe he had a malfunction. I need to watch this movie to see for myself.
