The guy packing one in Nemisis looked like a Pacific Ilander in a suit. I mean the guy was large enough to fire the weapon at a walk and have it look natural. As I said I need Screencaps.

That actually wasn't much of a fix. Units that got the A6s just sawed off the stock, put them back on tripods, and retained the BAR as squad automatic.

They didn't need to saw it off, it's detachable.

And still, putting a stock on an M2 would just be a terrible and impractical idea.
