Default Borderlands

Came out last week in Europe, this week in rest of the world. Basic FPS with random-generated firearms, I've had rocket launcher that shoots electric spheres, sub-machine guns with incineration ammo, and shotgun that shoots a wave of ice(?). 17 000 000+ different weapons according to debug, I'm sure I'm gonna get something pretty surprising eventually.

How is the game? Fun, or did they focus too much on the guns?

Plays smoothly even for console, similar to Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3. Each character having their own talent trees adds additional depth for playability, likely going to be a hit in multiplayer department. I say it's worth the price, and like Diablo 2, new loot is always waiting up ahead.

Id say consoles play more smoothly, since the game is built to play on consoles requirements, and not requiring souped up[ uber computers.

Not really. I have Fallout 3 for PC and it can kill your system if you don't have the right stuff. Not high tech money wasting stuff, but if you have an average PC, Fallout 3 will completely destroy it.

Im saying a computer needs new high tech stuff being constantly updated, so i prefer a console, due to the fact it never needs new software. It runs smooth, i like the controller and the ability to kick back and chill while playing.
