Default WTF is this?

Has anyone besides Excalibur and myself received a message from someone named "AdminLady" telling us to upgrade our Virus Scan software? This is quite obviously another BS spammer, right?

Yesterday I was hit hard with a virus that pretended to be my Windows Security Center alerts. Took me hours to clean out my systems.

OK, I banned this "AdminLady" biatch. Nothing more to worry about. If any of y'all ever get a message like that again, do NOT respond to it, or do what it tells you. Just forward it to me (or another Admin) and I'll take care of it.

A bunch of people I know at school have had that. It seems to be going around. There's actually a pretty simple Registry fix for it, though.

I downloaded a new anti-malware program and it got rid of it fast. My old one just doesn't recognize this problem.

She sent something to me and I deleted the junk. that is when I can get on my account because people seem to like trying to hack me for some reason.

I signed up for the form like a month ago and then never came back. I just logged into the forum today and saw I had the adminlady notification, but I had also got three notifications from "ValeryDam" I opened on and immediatly got a popup so I know its spam. I didn’t even bother to read it (I really don’t need a virus or anything like that) but I was wondering if anyone else got messages from them like 3 weeks ago? More specifically on the 25 or 26 of December.

Maybe the hackers are trying to get to your documents to download your book and plagerize it (it sounds ridiculous, but it can happen).
