The guy who owns the gunshop where I shot the '74 knows a few people who build FALs and is going to see if he can get me a deal on one

Dammit. Got my range bag all filled up last night hoping it wouldn't rain today. No shooting the Ruger LC9, S&W Model 10 & 64 or the Colt Custom Government Model in 38 Super I traded one of my Hi-Powers for.

Although I think the private range where you get to shoot is awesome, that is the one drawback compared to an actual public range: Unless you build up a shelter of some kind, you can get rained out.

Got to shoot anyway. The original forecast was 90% at 10am. After I picked up breakfast, it moved back well into the afternoon. But I forgot to bring any .38 Special ammo. So I didn't get to shoot either the Model 10 or 64. The Colt 38 Super shot freaking great! About 80 rounds through it no problems. I also brought my Loaded and Mil-Spec also. I had replaced the extractor on my Loaded hoping that would cure the failure to eject on the last round. It made it worse. I'll upload the footage on YT in the coming days. Also I couldn't shoot worth a damn with the LC9, I may have to start with 5 yards on that thing.

I may look into a quick set-up tent.

That LC9 is getting a rep for being difficult to shoot, more difficult than the pf9, which i think is hard. Dont dig mag disconnects either.

I just need more practice with it. The trigger is number one thing that takes some getting used to. I don't dig mag disconnect either, but I'll live it. I would have liked to check out a Kahr CM9 but I didn't see any at the gunshow.
