Another Boot Thread
Looking for new uniform boots, wondering if I should go steel toe. I have composite toes on mine. Im wondering whos worn steel toes for long periods of time, if they feel unbalnced or such?

Steel toes are a big no-no if you`re going to be in any kind of cold weather. Nobody wears issued boots in the Canadian military and they don`t care, but you are NOT to wear steel toes.

I wore a pair for a while. Of course, they weigh more, but I got used to it. My favorite pair were Navy hot weather boots, so they had Nomex uppers, which compensated a bit for the extra weight of the steel toes. (And I haven't seen them since I moved. Damn, I loved those boots.)

These are the best boots I have ever owned
If you get these, break them in before you use them heavily and buy some extra insole |
