Default These Guns Fake?

It looks like some guy scammed L.A.s finest by selling them some props at a gun buyback. I can't tell if they're real or not. What do you guys think. Check out the third picture. http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la...3.photogallery

If you read some of the comments, they say they look like Adler Jager AP-74s without charging handles, and I'm inclined to agree. Either that or they are fake as some on there say. I seriously doubt that a Compton resident would have 58 beat up M16 rifles that weren't fake or cheap .22 knockoffs.

Definitely AP74s. Look at the close-up of the receiver in pic #3.

This guy duped arguably the best police force in the country into buying cheapy little .22s. And while I don't condone trying to outsmart, trick, or rip off the police in any way, I have to admit he deserves that $5,800 for actually pulling it off.
