I didn't fully read your post and readded the "unreleased" template... I reverted my edit. Sorry about that.

Ok, I've added in a commented-out section to explain why it isn't there, that should help avoid people thinking we just forgot it.

Perhaps an "unconfirmed" template for situations like this would be something to consider?

Trouble is I'm not wholly convinced this article is in line with policy; at present we have no idea if these even are screenshots of the game. The way I've had to word it basically leaves the article saying "hey, here's some screenshots that may or may not be of Modern Warfare 3." It's not like Kotaku is known for being particularly picky with what they report, after all.

I know such an article (using purportedly leaked shots the authenticity of which is debatable) certainly wouldn't be allowed for a movie, and it doesn't exactly make for a great article when we're just IDing the guns in a rumour.

I raised that point (that there was no evidence any of it was legit) on the discussion page but it was brushed aside on the grounds that there wasn't any evidence to say it wasn't either.

That's a terrible argument since it's basically an admission that this could be someone's portfolio for all we know; the burden of proof always goes to the side asserting a positive, which in this case means it's his job to demonstrate there's some degree of authenticity to this. There's no proof there isn't an invisible unicorn in the room with you, either, but that doesn't mean you're trying to avoid pissing it off.

Also, much as I hardly arrived here with the most respectable username in the world, I don't think someone called Halorocka888 is really our go-to guy for policy advice.

I pretty much share the same view as Evil Tim. I don't think these leaked images should have been used as basis for the MW3 gun page, I only posted the link here so that we could peruse over them and discuss our thoughts on them.

According to a USA Today article, the XM25 grenade launcher will be in the game, as will a 9-bang flashbang grenade (as in, 9 seperate explotions from each grenade)

Oh, that's going to be overused in multi-player a lot
