Guys, are a pizza and a pizza pie the same thing or is there some specific difference between the two?

Haha, my roommate freshman year of college was from New York, and he always used to say "pie" whenever we were ordering pizza on weekends. We used to make fun of him and tell him that "pie" could only ever refer to baked pastries containing fruit and other sweetened ingredients. And then he'd respond by telling us that he worked at a pizza place in high school and that they all said, "pie" to refer to pizzas.

My math grade just jumped 3 points. 3 more points, which I will probably get when a bunch of my lower grades are dropped, and I won't have to take the final.
