i would refuse to not have iron sights, id want at least lip up irons. Remember, an eotech is battery powered and can break. Scope lenses can crack. Irons are always trusty

But not always user friendly. An EOTech or Tasco sight is very easy to use in close quarters and can break just like the sight posts on your rifle. Those things are built to last. I've used both sights before when it comes to shooting things fast and accurate at 50yards or so, they come in handy.

BTW, K9870, I hope you don't write like that on the site, dude. Use proper cases, capital letters, etc.

I like optics, just want a reliable backup if something goes wrong. Id never trust an electric device 100%. I need iron sights availible, no matter what.

Unfortunately you can't have your cake and eat it too in most cases, since most optic sights get in the way of iron sights. Some scope mounts try to fix this but make aiming awkward and decrease accuracy.

That's interesting...

Back on topic with accurate shooters, I noticed some shooters like Black, Bad Company and Far Cry 2 designed all their guns with the shells ejecting like it's a lefty gun. Why is that? Is it because they couldn't get copy rights or something?

No, so you see shells ejecting because its cool.

And Gunmaster, there are flip up irons, not as good but good enough if your primary optic breaks.

Well, I suppose that gives us one more thing to complement the G36 on...its back-up iron sights are installed on top of the carry handle so that if the optics fail, you can just use those.

Nah, trademarks just affect whether they can use the same brand name (think CS back when it first went retail). As K9870 said, they just show guns ejecting from the left because it's perceived as looking cooler. Although lately, I've seen fewer games doing this...

I love in games when the fs2000 (front eject) or p90 (bottom eject) are shown throwing ammo to the side. In its real configuration we cant see it launch brass so we need to alter it to look cool.
