It shouldn't be optional, then people will typically shut it off.
The chance of the gun jamming in the game should be programmed to about 1 in 1000 chance, so it doesn't pop up too frequently but is still a factor.

Not in the console versions, at least.

Well, yes, but that's because consoles are for morons.

Well that's a slap to the face! I'm a console owner, I can't do anything with a computer other than what I do on IMFDB. But does that mean I'm dumb? Nah.

Or people who can't keep up with ever-increasing computer performance standards for games...
I remember when I wanted to get Max Payne 2 for the PC. My computer at the time was near-infinitely more than capable of handling the original Max Payne with no problems. That said, that particular computer wouldn't have ran MP2 without graphical issues out the ass. That, and other games, is what finally turned me off to PC gaming. |

And the fact console controlers are much better and easier to use. I love how consoles dont get out of date.

That being said, PC games can be modded. If you buy one game, you've bought all the free mods that can be added to it. It's a trade-off I'm willing to make. I find it way easier to use a keyboard and mouse than a controller. And consoles DO get out of date eventually, just not quite as fast as PCs do. Most new consoles last about 4 years before the next generation comes along, whereas PCs are only like 2-3 years at best. |

Or one year, NEVER had luck with PCs. To get it to last long at all you need to buy a gaming specific computer or spend 50% of your income updating yours.

6 months I say for most graphics cards. Prices always goes up and down depending on where and what's being sold and there is always something better. It's best to just get what you can afford now and wait a year or two if you dont mind.
