I like The Good Guys, but it does seem pretty low budget

I've been enjoying the Good Guys. (I'm shocked no one has done a page yet. I might have to step up.) It doesn't feel that cheap to me.
Law and Order might have been old, but it was dependable, and it could be cheap. They probably make a ton of money off of selling the reruns because it's one show where you can watch any episode and not have to worry about not having watched any previous episodes or later episodes. (Never a "Previously, on Law and Order...) Also, if the cast starts to demand too much money, then you can always recast, they've done it so many times. You had a great pool of NY theatre talent at your disposal to guest star. |

The only thing I don't like about The Good Guys is the digital muzzle flash that sometimes show up. It's fun to see Bradley Whitford (Dan Stark) in a role where he's not a prick.
I have actually quit watching Burn Notice. Got burned out on it. Last edited by predator20; 08-10-2010 at 04:44 PM. Reason: it's Dan not Don |

I hope that's just a lot of makeup on Bradley Whitford, because he looks like hell. Granted, I never watched West Wing, so the last thing I saw him in was Billy Madison, but that was only fifteen years ago.

He was born in '59. So he's 50+. He's an alcoholic in the show, so he's supposed to look like hell. The last thing I saw him in was Billy Madison too.

I'm glad they're bringing back Sons of Anarchy. They're getting ready to film episode 12. I'm not sure if we'll see it this year though.

I watch the Good Guys. It's ok, mildy entertaining. As far as cheap production values they did do a closeup once where a bad guy was threatening someone with a silver painted plastic toy gun. It wasn't even a prop. It was something off the shelf at Toys R Us. Embarrassing.
Still watching Burn Notice, but I've grown tired of it as well. |

Just finished making the Nikita page on here. I thought it was good, had several of the old familiar bits [Chick in on robbery gone wrong, sentenced to death/ "commits suicide", makes up in room (Not an all-white cell this type, I'm glad), tries to escape( But this time, gives up w/o getting shot)] and some new stuff. The rest of the cast looks good, and I'm glad that the character of Birkhoff no longer looks like a 14-year old kid (Seriously, watch some La Femme Nikita, he looks about 14.). Only think I didn't like was Alex talking to Nikita at the end. Seriously, did Nikita arrange for her to get recruited? Was she the other pig-face in the begining? That's worse the Nikita's dad getting her drafted in LFN.

Been watching the "Hawaii Five-0" remake. It's crap, as I expected it would be. So I have no good explanation for why I'm still watching the new episodes on Hulu. The best excuse I can come up with is that (1.) the two leads are SIG guys, like me, and (2.) it's got Grace Park.
This show also gets the award for, "Most Blatant Gun Continuity Errors of the Year." Two big ones in the second episode alone, both of which I documented on the IMFDB page for the show.
