Im wondering, is there a way to telling the difference between a m48 and k98 without looking for stamps on the reciever or what not? m48s are way more common around here and im betting a few have made there way into movies. Fired one today and can say if i wasn't reading the big "m48" and seeing star stamped in i wouldnt be able to tell.

Anyone know what kind of gun this is. Someone suggested a S&W bodyguard but the shallow where the hammer normally is located is still there. |

I know hoe to tell the difference if i actually get to pick it up, not from looking at it on a screen though. Mitchells has a bad rep though...

Anyone know what this is. Flying Dane had it as a Remington 870 but after looking at it I don't think it is. |

That's definately a pistol gripped Mossberg 500.

Some of the sweepers in the movie use pistol-grip 870s, but yeah, John's right, the one used by Dominic Purcell's character is most definitely a 'berg 500.

I just did a massive overhaul of that page (if your wondering why it's one of my favorite movies of all time)
Turns out that most of the shotguns are actually Benelli M3's. (aside from Dominic's and one of the sweepers) Last edited by AdAstra2009; 06-19-2009 at 10:04 PM. Reason: fixed spelling |

I need to watch this movie some time. I watched most of Ultraviolet on sci-fi, while it wasn't oscar worthy, it was kind of cool. I've heard good things about this movie though, so I might rent it sometime to watch.

It's like A brave new world, 1984, and the matrix thrown together. Also has an awesome soundtrack. |
