Looking into going active duty.
Started the paperwork, trying to go in may/june once i have my degree. Its hard now since the budget was cut and the guard has way too amny people in it, but most likely i can get in around that time. Im hoping I don't get stationed in a commie state, though.

I wouldn't, but if that's what you want, then it's your choice.
Also, what "communist" country could you get stationed in? Is there any such thing any more? |

By that I think he means he doesn't want to be stationed in California.

Ah, that kind of "state". Silly me. But yeah, I would rather not be stationed in California myself, if I were in the military.

Coast guard, forgot that wa sonly in my profile on the other site. Waiting for the paperwork to go through and then they find a unit, send me there as a nonrate (gotta give up the crows) while they find a third class billet. Then I go to that once they find it (they said that should take like 6 months) and get my rank back. And I should have said "extremely liberal" rather than communist.

Even then Extremely liberal doesn't equal anti-gun.
Switzerland is liberal as hell and has possibly the best gun laws in the planet. Just call it an anti-gun state. |

Well, I also don't like real liberal states, I'm a pretty conservative person, not just about guns.
