Just feels like history is repeating itself. The XM7 is the new M14, the M320 is the new M79, and CCP/Russian Fed are the new Red Scare.

The M14 was a failure, but it's an understandable failure. The XM7 is a product of the U.S. military over-learning the lessons of Afghanistan, before it learned the lessons of Ukraine. What is inexcusable is that we should have learned (essentially) the same lessons about urban combat from Iraq.
