X-Com is a turn-based strategy series. You make a base, intercept UFOs, thwart alien terrorists, and it's just incredible. You research artifacts, perform autopsies on aliens, interrogate POW aliens, and train your troops. It's only 5 dollars on Steam, and you'll be playing it for months if that's your bag. And this new version will hopefully be a Swat 4 type game.
