That's not the safety, that's the release for the floorplate. It's a Remington 700 alright, all the non-detachable mag models have it.

Yeah I figured it had something to do with the mag release/floorplate too, when I say "do not have this safety" I was referring to the flick safety GM mentioned. Anyhow, like I said, 700.

Ah, I see. I'm glad I posed this on here, now I know. Now I can start making Face/Off sooner. Another iffie:
![]() Some type of side-folding AKMS, but the stock style doesn't look like an MPi-KMS. Any of the AK pros know?

There's a gun just like that one in "Executive Decision", which I documented on the page for that film. I think it may be an AKM fitted with a Vz. 58 side-folder stock, which is not a simple fit, but one that at least a few people I've seen on the AK Forum managed to accomplish.

That's the page I saw the same gun on before! I knew there was another movie with this AKMS in it, but I couldn't remember. Thanks for the help.

Here's one:
![]() The Smith & Wesson Auto 9mm used by Sasha Hassler ([[Gina Gershon]]), I have no idea what it is. It is compact (so this rules out the full sized 5906 and the subcompact 6906), and has a bobbed hammer (but is compact and not subcompact which ruled out the 669). I'm not sure what type of S&W it is, I figured you guys could help. One last thing. The Colt Commandos used by the police on the river. While I'm sure they are civilian Colt Sporter 1s or 2s converted, the selector switch is clearly on full auto. This would imply the lower is not a civilian version, since civie ARs don't even have a full-auto selection. Does this mean they have GAU/5 lowers? Here's a shot: ![]()

The 69 series are compact guns, not subcompact. There is no size in between the 59 and 69 series guns. However it still isn't a 6906 because it appears to have a single stack frame. If this is so, it's a 3913.
