Yeah, I'm okay with the carrying handle mounted optic (old skool operator) but the PEQ- hanging off the side there is just stupid looking.

I think it is more likely than not irrelevant at this point, as from the sound of it Blomkamp's Alien film has been shit-canned in lieu of endless Prometheus sequels.
