Probably just filler effects, whipped up because they wanted to show off the scene but sound editing wasn't finished with it. I've seen it often in movie trailers. One example off the top of my head being the first trailer for
Vampires Suck where a vampire attacking the female lead misses and emits a
Howie scream as he's flying toward the wall, but in subsequent trailers it was changed to a less stock-sounding scream (which made the scene less funny, IMO) that better resembled the voice of the actor.
I like the premise of the movie, though. It's original.
