12 o'clock isn't really the right term. Some pistols you aim right at the bullseye. Others require a 6 o'clock hold where you aim just below the bullseye. Wasn't sure if that was the reason you were hitting low.

My father and I bought a ton of .223 and .45 the other day at a gunshow in Pasadena

I almost walked out of there with a new Mosin, but when I took a closer look at it, it didn't seem to be in as good of condition as it appeared to be

I don't think If I ever got a carry permit that I'd even carry the weapon on me in the first place. I'd probably get one just so I can keep it in my glove-box or something just in case.

Speaking of glove box, I've been wondering is there any portable handgun vault in the market? One that can be locked with a key and carried around.

You could get a regular gun case and get some locks

Once I turn 21, I'm definitely putting a pistol in the middle console of my Expedition

Waffen Werks AK74 with plum furniture. I originally bought one with wood because the plum was listed higher. Turns out it was a mistake and were the same price. Rifle won't ship till next Mon, hope to be able to take it out that weekend. Mags have gotten crazy expensive so got a few just for now.
