Are your reffering to 9x19mm or 9x17mm? 9x19, generaly known as just "9mm", is differant from 9x17mm (.380 Auto/9mm Short). The PPK is availible in 9x17, but with reduced magazine capacity.

No, I do mean 9mm (9x19mm) not .380ACP (9mm kurz) because the PP is chambered in that, so why isn't the ppk? Why isn't there a PP with a short barrel and slide chambered in 9x19mm?

Aside from a single line on Wikipedia I can't find any evidence of the regular PP ever being chambered in 9mm Para.

A PPS IS chambered in 9x19mm. Unfortunately, the picture provided is not a PPS, but a PP, which is not.

The PPS is a completely different weapon.

I thought walther had said 9x19 had too much pressure for a blowback gun and they were not going to make one?

The tag on the image originally said PPS. I've since changed it. The file name also has PPS in it.
