Well, no. Blanking messages from admins is generally Not Good Form since it implies you think yourself in a position to retract them. It's another notch on his 'hasn't learned anything' slate.

On your own talk page though? I thought your user page and your talk page were the ONLY pages where you could delete anything you want.

I dunno, it implies a certain lack of respect for the admins if you just delete things they've told you on the same day they told you them. Not so much a problem if you're talking clearing house months or years later, but it strikes me as just a kid sticking his fingers in his ears.
