Most are so poorly trained on pistols it wouldnt matter. A friend of mine did 2 tours in iraq and only shot the beretta in the states a few times for "familiarization." Its not like there all trained to be experts with secondary weapons like in call of duty the focus is on the rifle. Pistol training is more for jobs that require pistols even then you may only shoot 2-4 times a year.

Just for Fun, what do you think the winners of military trials would be?
I think Taurus, Ruger and Para would go first, and XD wouldnt be adopted simply because of politics (croatian made.) glock may do okay, not sure since the 17 was disqualified from xm9 trials since it didnt have necessary firing pin force, if its been updated or requirement changed should do okay. The M&P would perform like a glock. I think the fn would perform solidly, and the hk45 and p220 are well proven. Think the p220 would win overall but have stiff competition.

P220 would be the best choice, but they would choose the cheapest option they possibly could

The FNP45 is a shitload of firepower but i dont think its been torture tested so id like to see that and see if it holds, SIGs are just so damn reliable and durable, I have no idea how the px4SD performs, there are no reiews or eben user range reports around.
