My friend got one of their pocket knives I believe 2 years ago. From what I can tell from handling/using his, they are well built and durable. The only reason I didn't buy one when I was knife shopping the summer before last (because a different friend broke my cheap S&W folder) is because when I tried to open it one handed, it sliced my thumb open

one of my first knives was a plain old folding and one day I reached into my pocket for it and didnt notice that the blade slipped put partly and I cut myself. So I bought a new one with a blade lock on it

My first knife was one of those huge Victorinox Swiss Army knives. I got it for christmas and not even an hour after I opened it I had a deep cut in my thumb.

I was at the gun store last month to fetch another mag for the Beretta, and I stumbled upon two things. One was an old stock factory Browning magazine on the wall, which are hard to come by for a decent price, even online, and a crappy Taiwanese butterfly knife with a plastic hilt and some paint marks on it in the make an offer bin. I got the Beretta mag (factory Italian, blued, non LE marked) for 20, the Browning mag for 25, and the knife for a dollar! All have performed well but the knife has earned it's keep already. I've been flipping it around getting my skills back, and it's got a bottle opener on it too which I've used more than once. Real glad I picked it up.
